Wagle Pledges Commitment To Kansas Taxpayers
WICHITA, KS - Republican candidate for U.S. Senate and Kansas state Senate President Susan Wagle (R-KS) today signed Americans for Tax Reform's (ATR) pledge.
Susan Wagle said: "Congress does not have a revenue problem, it has a spending problem, and Kansas taxpayers are paying enough. Kansans have to work through April 16th just to cover their tax bills, and that doesn't even include the cost of compliance and regulation. Kansas families will spend more on taxes than they do on clothing, food and housing combined in 2019. DC bureaucrats have enough of our hard-earned money and I'm committed to fighting for those who are footing the bill each and every day in the U.S. Senate. My commitment begins now, by pledging my support for Kansas taxpayers."
By signing the ATR pledge, Susan Wagle commits that she will oppose efforts to increase the marginal income tax rates for individuals and business. Wagle also commits to opposing a net reduction or elimination of tax deductions and credits, which effectively raises your taxes, unless they are matched dollar-for-dollar by further reducing tax rates.
